Three modules based on award winning programmes especially adapted for home schoolers practiced and loved by pre-schoolers in New Zealand and Poland for over 20 years
Module One. The Magic Garden
- Short introduction of health and culinary usage of herbs.
- Prepare Infusion (herbal tea) from Melissa Lemon Balm) leaves.
- Preparing a healthy snack/ rolls from nasturtium leaves and peanut butter.
- Listening to the lore of Melissa – one of the Herb Fairies learning about her health properties and building respect and love of Gaia – our Mother Earth.
- Using plants ( leaves and petals), to colour Melissa sketch
- E Matike – Cook Island Gaia Gratitude (participants improvise).
- After completing the classes, students receive a feather from Niunia and Boy – the residents of Eva’s Magic Garden.
Module Two.
Based on Children Massaging Children programme
This is a massage class made easy even for small kids. All they need to do is to listen to 3 songs composed especially for this module and follow the instructions provided in the lyrics.
- Back Massage.
- Reflexology we use Tui Massage Balms .
- Students receive “ Diploma For Home Massage Therapist”
Module Three.
Head Massage –
body/emotions relationships.
- Chinese approach: organ/meridians/disease/emotions
- Listen to the song (Feel It).
- Safe Ear ( Mickel Therapy)
- Lullaby listen together in arms of parent /caregiver
- Gratitude Ceremony fuming incense
- Students who attended all Modules will receive “Golden Logo Card”
Three modules are based on programmes created by Eva Scherer and awarded with Mayoral Award for Excellence in the community in 2004 by North Shore City, and Silver Cross of Merit in 2018 by President of Poland Andrzej Duda
